Posted Breed: Pomeranian / Chihuahua / Mixed (medium coat). Harley was born approx 2011. He is a very devoted and loving little guy....but his devotion it seems is limited to one person in the household. He can be friendly and loving to others, but he has displayed overly protective tendencies to the one he has chosen as his.....even if that 'one' has a two legged significant other. We are looking for a single person for this little guy, someone who is looking for a pint size shadow, a lap warmer and protector. A guardian who knows that she may need to seclude Harley in another room while having company, someone who will protect Harley and will understand and work around and work through some of his less desirable personality traits. He is happy go lucky at adoptions, he will hop from one lap to another lap to another lap through out the day. But once in a home, he doesn't want to share his person with another. He loves to sit in laps and gives little kisses and jumps to be picked up. His favorite treats are tortilla chips and ice cubes. Please consider Harley. He really is a sweet boy and so deserving of a home that will understand and love him for who he is. She is shy around strangers at first, but warms up to people quickly and once she knows you, she loves to snuggle. She will follow you and jump in your lap as soon as you sit down. She is an easy keeper. She would prefer a home without another dog. She was adopted out and returned 5 years later as the adopter sadly had a medical situation that prevented her from caring for Jini. In addition, the adopter returned another dog she adopted, Paris, plus a 3rd dog she already had, Lily. Jack is a sweet, fun, and loving boy with a big heart! He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle with you on the couch. He is also very playful and gets along with all other dogs and would be happiest in a home where he has a yard and another small dog to play within the home. He is good about being groomed and is always eager to please. ARV rescued his mom Stephanie (AKA Stevie) from the shelter when she was pregnant. Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever (short coat). Bentley is a purebred Labrador Retriever born March 1, 2018, and weighs 80 lbs. He is adorable, very sweet, loving, friendly, gets along with all dogs and people/kids, and is potty trained. He is very active, so he needs an active playmate in the home. His lower jaw is shorter than the upper, but it does not prevent him from doing any activities. He has had no training. Therefore, we require completion of an obedience class, no exceptions. Snowflake is a little shy but has turned out to be a sweet and loving girl with a big heart that wants to please you! She is very affectionate, loves to give kisses and to cuddle with you on the couch. She is also very playful and gets along with all other dogs. She loves to chase the ball and sometimes she will bring it back to you. A home where she has a yard and another small dog to play with would be ideal for Snowflake. Posted Breed: Beagle / Basset Hound (short coat). Rosebud was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd 2017. She was also our 2018 Wag 'n Walk mascot. Rosebud is very sweet, friendly, and loves to fall asleep on your lap. She gets along with all dogs and people. She is special needs as she is deaf, has neurological issues, and hip/knee issues. As a result, she has an odd gait but none of this slows her down. She has seen a neurologist who said she is stable and will not worsen. Our surgeon performed FHO surgery on one hip and says no other surgeries are necessary. She is medically stable, so is ready for her forever home. She is 1/2 the size of her siblings at 15 lbs. Her mom and dad were rescued from the shelter when her momma was pregnant. She and her 4 siblings were born in the foster's home. Due to her health issues, her adoption was delayed but she is now ready for a loving forever home.
